Program Mission:
The Tourism Management Program is designed to provide professional education in tourism management services and prepare students for careers in hospitality, marketing, management, and sustainable tourism in Belize.
Program Goals:
- Develop knowledgeable, professional, and intellectually capable business graduates that are able to gain employment or create their own employment.
- Foster the use of critical thinking and creativity to solve business problems,
- Develop effective business communication skills
- Provide the opportunity for students to experience the real world of business through internships and other practical business experiences,
- Develop socially, ethically, and community-conscious business students,
- Prepare students for further undergraduate study in business, business management, or a specific functional area.
